About Hinton's Restaurant & Vineyard

Hinton's is a family owned and operated restaurant and function venue in Christchurch.

 

Hinton's was opened in 2006 by owners Dina & George. They are both actively involved in the day-to-day running of the venue.  

There are two venues on the property - one is a beautifully restored wooden villa that is used for lunch on the weekends and private functions. The other is their tasting room which has a rustic Central Otago feel that can be booked exclusively for functions and private events. 

Both venues are available for private functions fro breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. We are a fully catered and licensed venue.

The Hinton family are originally from Alexandra where they have grown stone fruit for over 100 years. They also have a boutique vineyard which provides some delicious wines to the Christchurch venue.
